Lou Gramm, lead singer of Foreigner, singing Happy Birthday.
...and now, the rest of the story...
So I saw Lou Gramm and Foreigner with my best friend Chris back when I was in high school. They played a packed Glens Falls Civic Center on their Foreigner 4 tour in front of thousands. So I get a job to go shoot a local 85th birthday party at a jewelry store. And the guy at the mic says "And now, to sing Happy Birthday, Rochester's own, Lou Gramm of Foreigner!" Mr. Gramm just strolls out of the audience of 40, sings the song, then just strolls back on out. How cool.
...but wait, there's more...
So the phone rings today and its Chris. He says he's driving around Virginia and heard Foreigner's Juke Box Hero and just had to call.
Crazy!!

Mount Adams fire tower.
Met up with Tom & Leslie in the Adirondacks for our first summer hike. Adams is the 28th and final fire tower in my Views From On High guidebook that I had left to hike.
28 towers, over 133 miles of trails, over four years. A great start to the season.
McIntyre Blast Furnace.
On the way out, we stopped at this massive blast furnace that we'd been meaning to check out for years. Built in 1854. The thing is massive.
