BoulderFestival 2009.
Velux on the Main Stage - The Lobster Quadrille - Night Gallery on the Coffeehouse stage.
Boulder Coffee is a cool little local place. This is their fourth year of holding their indie music festival. Every year I say I'm gonna make it, because I like to support the local art scene and businesses, and every year I miss it.
Not this year.

The Tragically Hip play the Highland Bowl.
My old friend Smitty came to town for the Hip show tonight. We discovered the Hip back when we worked in Watertown, and they were from across the river in Kingston, Ontario. The show - awesome.
Oh, and it rained. More like waves of water crashing down from the skies. Absolutely soaked from head to toe. Everyone was soaked. And nobody moved, nobody left. We all stayed and just rocked on through the downpour. And the band just played on. They were incredible - soaked right along with us, and playing their asses off for two and a half hours.
