Panther Peak.
Headed back into the Dacks with Tom & Leslie for some high peaks climbing. We went into the Santanoni Range on this trip. The ancient Algonquins called this "dismal wilderness." They sure were right - mud, mud, and more mud. Everywhere knee deep, pudding thick mud. So we hiked in five miles, set up camp and headed up the range - and then the rains came...
I've never been that soaked on a mountain before - head to toe, soaked to the bones. So we get up on Panther and as we turn to go down, the skies opened for just a minute for one incredible view.
