Lucy comes to Manhattan.
Zipped down to NYC to see Lucy today! I was a Anthropology minor in college, so I still totally geek out over this stuff.
Lucy is a 3.2 million year old nearly 40% complete skeleton of an Australopithecus afarensis discovered in 1974 in Ethiopia. She is the oldest known, complete fossilized human skeleton ever found. The exhibit, Lucy's Legacy, started in Houston last year, moved on to Seattle, and is now in NYC, and is the very first time the actual skeleton is being shown to the public.
It was just incredible.

And no trip the city is complete without a feast at Wo Hop in Chinatown.
